'Soho Square' Solid London Plane Wooden Floating Shelf

A handmade solid London plane shelf from our sustainable London Tree collection.

The Soho Square shelf is handmade with solid London plane hardwood from a tree which fell in Soho Square in 2023. With its extraordinary laced grain and distinctive flaky bark, plane is central London's most common tree.

A limited number of shelves are available from this single tree, each made-to-order in a range of lengths, with the option of pre-drilled holes and floating brackets for invisible mounting. Each shelf features a rounded square edge as standard, but is available with a live edge by enquiry. Delivery is free in the UK.

The Soho Square shelf is part of the Fallen & Felled London Tree collection, furniture we make sustainably from trees felled in and around London due old age or to make space for development. We salvage these trees - which would otherwise be burned - milling them into timber and giving them a second life as quality furniture.

Each shelf is marked on the end with the Fallen & Felled logo, and comes with a certificate of provenance.

Please note - this is a natural product and no one shelf will be exactly like the example in the photographs. We make every shelf to order and will happily show you a photo of the board before we craft it into your finished shelf.

Our shelves are handmade to order and delivered to UK addresses by courier within four weeks of purchase. 

Collection
Alternatively, you can pick up your shelves from our shop in Walthamstow, London. Please add a note to your order requesting collection, before checking out. We will email you when your order is ready to collect. Our shop is open on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays from 10am - 4pm. 

Please note we do not install shelves.
