'Hillingdon' Solid Oak Waney Edge Floating Shelf

A handmade-to-order solid English oak shelf with waney edge.

The Hillingdon shelf is made from richly grained solid oak, the quintessential English furniture hardwood. Each shelf is handmade-to-order using oak from trees felled in the London Borough of Hillingdon in West London.

The shelves feature a distinctive waney (live) edge, and come with pre-drilled holes and floating brackets. Free delivery in the UK within 3 weeks of order.

The Hillingdon shelf is part of the Fallen & Felled London Tree collection, furniture we make from trees felled in and around London due old age or to make space for development. We salvage these trees - which would otherwise be burned - milling them into timber to give them a second life as quality furniture. Each shelf has a negative carbon footprint of between 4.8kg (80cm length) and 9.8kg (160cm).

Each shelf is marked on the end with the Fallen & Felled logo, and comes with a certificate of provenance.

Please note - this is a natural product and no one shelf will be exactly like the example on the photograph. We make every shelf to order and will happily show you a photo of the board before we craft it into your finished shelf.

Our shelves are handmade to order and delivered to UK addresses by courier within four weeks of purchase. 

Collection
Alternatively, you can pick up your shelves from our shop in Walthamstow, London. Please add a note to your order requesting collection, before checking out. We will email you when your order is ready to collect. Our shop is open on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays from 10am - 4pm.
